The Buffalo Bills are likely to take a wide receiver early in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The team lost Gabe Davis and Trent Sherfield in free agency while releasing Deonte Harty. To replace the trio, Buffalo made a splash signing in Curtis Samuel and added further depth in Mack Hollins. Samuel is expected to play a significant role in Buffalo, but the Bills could look to find their heir apparent to Stefon Diggs at pick 28 or pick 60 in the draft.

Brandon Beane will ultimately make the final decision on who to add to the wide receiver room, but the Bills GM should also check in with Josh Allen. The Bills' franchise quarterback has his eyes set on a few players who have caught his eye in this year's draft.

Appearing on "The QB Room Podcast," Allen was asked for his thoughts on this year's draft class by former teammate Kyle Allen and his offseason QB coach Jordan Palmer. Kyle Allen specifically asked Buffalo's franchise quarterback which receivers he loved coming out this year. After complimenting the top three receivers in the draft, Allen named some players who could potentially be available to Buffalo with one of their top two picks.

"Can I not like the guys that probably won't be there? I think the top three guys, Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze and Marvin Harrison Jr., are three pretty great prospects," Allen told the hosts. "Then you get to that kind of secondish tier--if you will--of Bryan Thomas, Adonai Mitchell. I think Keon Coleman, Troy Franklin, Xavier Worthy are all there (and) Xavier Legette. To watch these guys at the combine, some fast, big, tall, heavy dudes. It was pretty impressive to watch."

Don't be surprised if at least one of the players Allen mentioned ends up catching passes from the signal caller in 2024 and beyond.
