The former WVU star continues his hot streak.

Miles McBride continues to stay hot for the Knicks this season, and he had his most impressive stretch of basketball yet during their game against the Raptors on Wednesday night. McBride knocked down a franchise record-tying six three pointers in the first quarter alone, which helped build up a lead that wouldn't be lost for the rest of the game.

The Knicks, thanks to McBride's shooting, took care of the Raptors, 145-101, to improve to 44-28 on the season. Deuce ended with a career high-tying 29 points to lead the team and seven assists while shooting 9-14 from beyond the arc.

This continues a steady upward trend for McBride, as his role with the team has continually expanded. He averaged just 1.6 points per game in November, but that climbed up to 2.6 in December, 8.3 in January, 9.8 in February and now a career-high 12.8 points per game this month. He's shooting north of 40 percent from three on the season.

McBride, who led the Mountaineers to a three seed in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, was drafted in the second round with the 36th pick of the 2021 NBA draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder, and was officially traded to the Knicks the day after.

He received a three-year, 13 million dollar contract extension with the Knicks on December 30th.
