Kim Kardashian wants Taylor Swift to "move on" from their years-old feud after the singer dropped an apparent diss track about the Skims founder on her 11th studio album, "The Tortured Poets Department." An insider told People on Tuesday that Kardashian, 43, is "over" the drama and thinks it is time for the 14-time Grammy winner to put their beef to rest. Kardashian "doesn't get why [Swift] keeps harping on it," the source told the outlet. "It's been literally years." Swift surprised fans on Friday by releasing not one but two albums — the latter of which included a song seemingly about her bad blood with the "Kardashians" star. On "thanK you aIMee," Swift sings about dealing with a bully, who ultimately only made her stronger. "All that time you were throwin' punches, I was buildin' somethin' / And I can't forgive the way you made me feel," she sings. "Screamed 'F—k you, Aimee' to the night sky, as the blood was gushin'/ But I can't forget the way you made me heal." Fans also quickly noticed that the three capitalized letters in the title spell out Kardashian's first name. Reps for the Skkn founder did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. The feud between the two began in 2016 when Kanye West, who was married to Kardashian at the time, sang about Swift in his song, "Famous." "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous," he rapped in the track. Swift quickly voiced her displeasure about West calling her a "bitch," prompting Kardashian to release an edited phone call between the "Cruel Summer" singer and her then-husband. The recording made it seem like Swift had approved the lyrics beforehand. However, the singer claimed West only brought up the "sex" line during their conversation. The public backlash against Swift was so intense that the singer took a step back from the public eye for a full year before reemerging with her "Reputation" album. Swift told Time last year that the incident took her "down psychologically to a place [she has] never been before."
"You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar," she recalled.
"I pushed away most people in my life because I didn't trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard," Swift continued, comparing it to a "career death."
Elsewhere in the interview, Swift referred to West and Kardashian as "trash."
While Kardashian has yet to comment on the new song, fans believe she subtly dissed Swift on Instagram. Instagram/@kimkardashian On Tuesday, Kardashian posted a photo alongside Swift's former friend, Karlie Kloss — despite the pair not being good friends. kimkardashian/InstagramAlthough Kardashian reportedly wants to leave her drama with Swift in the past, she seemingly leaned into their feud on Tuesday by sharing a photo alongside Swift's former BFF, Karlie Kloss.
The shapewear mogul posted an old selfie with Kloss to her Instagram Story while wishing her pal Derek Blasberg a happy birthday.
Many Swifties found the move a bit odd given Kardashian and Kloss have never been close friends.
Meanwhile, Swift had a falling out with Kloss in 2017 — it was never confirmed why the former friends fizzled out.
