Google released the update earlier this week on Tuesday, March 26, to target seven security fixes on Chrome.

Version 123.0.6312.86/.87 of Chrome for Windows and Mac and 123.0.6312.86 for Linux will roll out over the coming days/weeks.

The update also addresses a severe vulnerability that could be exploited by attackers to compromise a user's system.

This flaw is tracked as CVE-2024-2883 and could allow a remote attacker to exploit your server via a malicious HTML page.

Once a user visits such a website, the attacker could potentially gain control of their computer.
