UPDATE: Police name murder victim as charged man is remanded

Detectives investigating the murder of a man at pub in Leeds have released his name. 

Robert Hiscoe, aged 37, of New Farnley, was pronounced dead in hospital after being assaulted in an incident at The Butterbowl pub, in Butterbowl Drive, in the early hours of Sunday, May 5. 

Nathaniel Philip, aged 35, of no fixed address, has been charged with his murder. 

He appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning and was remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday, May 9. 

The incident remains under investigation by detectives from West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.

Detectives investigating a serious assault at a pub on Butterbowl Drive, Leeds on 5 May have charged a man with murder.  

Nathaniel Philip, 35 of no fixed abode has been charged with murder after the assault in the early hours of Sunday morning. 

He is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (7 May.)
