Updated: Trains running normally after flash flooding closed railway lines

The flooding that caused problems on the railways in Yorkshire on Monday has now receded and trains are running normally.

Heavy rain led to flash flooding on the track between Harrogate and Leeds.

As a result, all lines between the two were closed on Monday evening.

It affected

National Rail says trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Disruption was expected until 9pm.

Rail replacement services were being brought in. LNER says affected passengers can also use its tickets on Northern trains.
