Weather in Telangana

On May 7, scattered areas in the Telangana region were forecasted to experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers. While this may bring some relief from the scorching heat, residents are advised to remain vigilant as heatwave conditions are expected to persist in isolated pockets of several districts, including Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, and Mahabubnagar.

With temperatures soaring, residents are strongly advised to take the necessary precautions to combat the heatwave, including staying hydrated, avoiding direct exposure to the sun during peak hours, and seeking shelter in cool environments whenever possible. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds (ranging from 30-40 kmph) may occur at isolated places in various districts of Telangana, including Nizamabad, Rajanna Sirsilla, Warangal, and Hyderabad.
