Video: AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan's son assaults staff at Noida petrol pump

A case was lodged against Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan and his son on Tuesday for assaulting and threatening the staff at a fuel station in Noida Sector-95.

The case was lodged based on the CCTV footage from the station which shows the MLA's son beating some people queued up for fuel.

According to Vinod Pratap Singh, who lodged the complaint, the MLA's son beat them as he wanted his car to be fuelled up first.

Later, Amanatullah Khan arrived at the fuel station and was seen speaking to some cops.

However, the complainant alleged that the MLA threatened them.

Based on the complaint, the Noida Police filed an FIR against the father-son duo under IPC Sections 323, 504, 506, 427.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Manish Mishra said, "We received a complaint in the morning that AAP leader Amanatullah Khan's son assaulted the staff at the petrol pump. We were informed that he had broken the line for petrol and wanted his car to be fuelled up first. Later, the MLA himself arrived and threatened the people."

Further investigation is underway, Mishra said.
