had shared information from whose handle the video was uploaded before it was shared to others.

After much dilly-dallying, X, formerly Twitter, gave information sought by cyber crime police. So far, five persons associated with Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee social media cell have been arrested and later released on a bail.

Hyderabad police commissioner K Sreenivasa Reddy said that the

cyber crime police

registered the case on April 27.

"Delhi police registered the case on April 28. We do not know whether it was on similar content they have taken action. My opinion is that there is no need for two agencies to conduct the probe on the same content. Our investigation is at an advanced stage. When Delhi police's DCP met me, I conveyed the same to him. When they sought information from us about the case details, it was shared to them," the CP said.
