Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 2.70% By Investing.com

Investing.com - Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 2.70%.

The best performers of the session on the were Oersted AS (CSE:), which rose 4.69% or 19.40 points to trade at 433.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 3.66% or 31.20 points to end at 882.60 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was up 3.27% or 321.00 points to 10,145.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:), which fell 4.31% or 25.00 points to trade at 555.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:) declined 3.46% or 30.20 points to end at 842.40 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) was down 3.07% or 6.40 points to 202.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.15% or 0.12 to $78.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.26% or 0.22 to hit $83.11 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 8.10 to trade at $2,323.10 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.05% to 6.92, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 105.04.
