Police looking for suspect in connection with stabbing near downtown library

Saskatoon police are looking at video evidence following a stabbing  in the 300 block of 23rd Street East around 2:50pm last Friday.

A woman was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds, but the injuries are believed not to be life-threatening. The suspect fled before officers arrived.

After further investigation, officers were able to obtain video evidence. It is hoped that it will lead to the identification of a female suspect who will be charged with aggravated assault and theft.
