May 6, 2024 | 2:14 PM The RNC has arrested and charged a man in connection with an investigation into sexual assault against a young person. Police received a report on Tuesday related to an incident that was alleged to have occurred the previous night at a hotel in St. John's. Twenty-six-year-old Daniel Richard is charged with four counts each of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching. The offences are connected to three separate young people. Anyone with information to help investigators is asked to contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
