Authentic Brands Group has named Bruno Pedroso de Almeida vice president and head of Brazil.

In that role, Pedroso de Almeida will spearhead and drive the company's business throughout the region while working to accelerate growth and expand the company's footprint in Brazil.

Pedroso de Almeida, who is based in São Paulo, has a long track record in the region, one that dates back more than two decades. Prior to joining Authentic, he held key roles at VF Corp.'s Central and South America regions, where he developed and executed distribution partnerships for that company's brands in the Brazilian market.

"Brazil represents a strategic market for us, and we see great potential to increase presence for Authentic's portfolio throughout the region. Bruno's expertise will be instrumental in seizing new opportunities and fostering strong partnerships to drive our brands' success," said Neal Seideman, president of Latin America at Authentic.

Pedroso de Almeida added: "By leveraging my experience throughout the region and by collaborating with the talented team, I look forward to creating growth-driving opportunities that strengthen Authentic's position as a leader in brand development and marketing in this dynamic landscape."

Authentic Brands Group is a global brand development, marketing and entertainment platform. Its portfolio includes Reebok, Ted Baker, Brooks Brothers, David Beckham, Sports Illustrated and many more. Authentic's brands generate more than $29 billion in retail sales annually and it operates in 150 countries.
