Bella-Louise Scheibel, 21, and 23-year-old Cooper Bunney were charged with offences including murder, torture, common assault, deprivation of liberty, and grievous bodily harm.

Scheibel appeared in court via videolink today on a string of charges, including the serious assault of a police officer.

She was asked to submit a disease test after it was revealed she allegedly spat at the officer.

Court documents show Schiebel and her co-accused Bunney allegedly used fencing wire to strangle and restrain their victim while torturing him over a three day period.

It will be alleged they then used an illegal shotgun to shoot him.

Both Scheibel and Bunney will next appear in Caboolture Magistrates court in July.
