Google Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold Colours Leaked: Obsidian And Porcelain Shades May Be Available For All Models

Search giant Google is expected to launch the Google Pixel 9 series in October this year. The handset will likely include four models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Months before launch, a new report leaked the expected colours of the devices soon after the images that surfaced to leak the first look of the handsets.

Android Authority leaked the rumoured shades of the devices and stated the early codenames could change, and these may arrive with a different name in the marketing material. Also, you must note that some of these colours may get revoked ahead of launch as Google has not confirmed the arrival of the handsets yet.

Pixel 9 Series Colours: What To Expect  

Google Pixel 9: The Pixel 8's successor could arrive in four colours this year. Besides Obsidian, the handset may launch in Jade, Peony and Porcelain.

Google Pixel 9 Pro: The Pixel 9 Pro is also tipped to arrive in four shades. These could be the Hazel, Obsidian, Porcelain and Rose.

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL: The device could offer the same colour options as the Pixel 9 Pro. This trim could get a bigger screen estate than the Pro model.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold: The foldable could launch in Obsidian and Porcelain shades. The company could name the Porcelain as 'Gold'. The handset is said to be the successor of the Pixel Fold (first generation) launched at Google I/O 2024.

Moreover, a recent report leaked the possible first look of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The handsets may get an AMOLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate. These models could run on the upgraded Tensor G4 chipset and Android 14 OS.

All models may offer a 50MP primary sensor. Among the notable differences in the photo was a renewed camera module. It could be different from the current Pixel 8 series and may be similar to the current Pixel Fold. You can read more on this here.
