The

TV

show

Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein

is headed for a 10-year leap. In a month's time, the show will head for the leap and the current actors including lead actor

Shakti Arora

will exit the show.

Bhavika Sharma

will continue to play the lead after the leap.

A source close to the production house confirmed the news. He said, "Initially, the second season of the show did very well, but in the past few weeks, it has not been doing too well.

The makers have tried to introduce many twists and turns including the latest track which focussed on a new entry Ayush Anand. So finally, they have decided to take a

time leap

of 10 years and bring in a new lead male

actor

in the show." A few months ago, Mansi Salvi and Indraneel Bhattacharya's tracks were also abruptly ended as the makers felt they were not required in the show.

The source added, "Viewers wanted to see Ishaan and Savi's characters get closer but that remained unexplored. Also, all actors' contracts will end this year and so this was a good time to introduce a new family and new cast."

Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein started in 2020 with Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh in lead roles. The second season began in May 2023, it had Shakti Arora, Bhavika Sharma and Sumit Singh playing important roles. Recently Ayush Anand entered the show. The current track focusses on how Savi has opened a tea stall in front of the college campus and divorced Ishaan. Ishaan is back with Reeva and they plan to get married. Savi is heartbroken but she agrees to divorce Ishaan.
