Tesla was making headlines for carrying out mass layoffs recently and lot of employees shared their thoughts on LinkedIn. Most employees, who penned a note about their time at Tesla, were praising the company for the opportunities that it offered and showed gratitude for being a part of the company. One such employee also took to LinkedIn and shared that even though working at the company was not easy, she and her colleagues still enjoyed it.

Beginning her post saying that there were a lot of employees who were laid off, the woman wrote, "Not another Tesla post." Well, there were a lot of us."

She then added how she was part of the Tesla layoffs within just a year of joining. She said that even though she has worked there for a week, she has gathered a lot of knowledge. The woman also said that she is now used to reaching for her phone and checking Teams the moment she opens her eyes in the morning but that "will fade."

A year ago this week I posted about my start at the Giga Factory. This year, I post about my exit. The difference between the two is the connections I've made, the work I've produced and the knowledge I'm taking with me. My first instinct when I open my eyes is still to reach for my phone and check Teams. But that will fade. What I keep is greater, and I'm a better professional because of it," her post read.

She then added that working at the company is not easy but she still enjoys it, and the same is the case with other Tesla employees. Concluding her post, the woman thanked her ex-colleagues wrote on a light-hearted note that she wonders when she will stop having dreams about her meetings.

"Any Tesla employee will tell you, working there isn't easy. But I haven't heard a single one of us say we didn't enjoy it, and I can't wait to see what's next. Thank you to every single one of my colleagues that taught me something, showed me a process I'd never seen or even just shared a laugh. The dedication I've witnessed is unparalleled. Now can someone tell me when I'll stop having dreams about my meetings?" she wrote.

As mentioned already, Tesla recently initiated another series of layoffs. This marked the fourth consecutive week of job cuts at the company. According to a report from Business Insider, several Tesla employees received layoff notices earlier this month and some shared their experience on LinkedIn. A Tesla employee anonymously spoke to Business Insider and said that there was ongoing uncertainty amongst employees. The employee said, "We need some level of closure or a sign that we can stop worrying about losing our jobs."

Earlier, on April 14, Tesla CEO Elon Musk had announced that the company would be reducing its workforce by more than 10 percent due to overlaps in job functions. This announcement was quickly followed by a series of layoffs affecting various departments including recruitment, marketing, and the Supercharging team.
