Three weeks out from the local and European elections, and the opinion polls are coming thick and fast. A Sunday Independent/Ireland Thinks poll today adds to the mix, but cannot answer the real question: Just how strong is the "new right" in Ireland?

Or to put it another way — will immigration upend politics as we know it in this country?
