Notes

-- The top team in each division occupy the top two spots in the SEC Tournament, which is why Arkansas is slotted ahead of Tennessee.

-- Mississippi State is ahead of Georgia based on their series win between the two teams.

-- There is a five-way between 13-17 teams vying for the seven seed. The first tiebreaker is common opponent, if all have one, starting with the highest seeded team in the SEC Tournament.

All five teams played Tennessee this year. Alabama went 2-1 against Tennessee, which is the best record, so they get the best seed, which is 7. Vandy and Florida both went 1-2 against Tennessee, so they're now in a two-team tiebreaker, and Vandy won that series, giving the Dores the 8 and the Gators the 9.

Carolina and LSU both went 0-3 against the Vols. Since the teams didn't meet head to head, you go back to find the highest seeded common opponent, which would be Arkansas, the No. 2 seed in the tournament. South Carolina went 1-2 while LSU went 0-3, thus the Gamecocks getting the 10 seed over LSU, which is the 11.
