Israel has acknowledged that Hezbollah's armed wing, Hamas, has successfully targeted its critical defense infrastructure, resulting in substantial damage.

During the ongoing conflict, Hamas strategically launched missiles from a considerable distance within Israel, hitting a major facility. In retaliation, the Israeli military carried out an operation targeting a weapons manufacturing plant in northern Lebanon, known for its ties to Hamas.

According to reports from The Times of Israel, the attack by Hamas occurred on Wednesday night, prompting swift action from the Israeli military, who received intelligence regarding the assault on the sensitive installation.

The facility, which came under attack by Hamas drones, is currently undergoing assessment to determine the extent of the damage inflicted. This incident follows a previous interception by the Israeli military of another drone sent by Hamas, near the Golan Junction, situated approximately 35 kilometers from the Lebanese border.

The targeted facility, dubbed "Sky D", serves as a crucial installation for tracking and intercepting missiles and drones aimed at Israeli territory. Despite its launch two years ago, the facility has yet to achieve full operational status, raising questions about its efficacy and the overall defense strategy.
