HARTFORD, Conn. (May 18, 2024) - The winningest gymnast of all time, Simone Biles (Spring, Texas/World Champions Centre) jump-started her 2024 season by winning her seventh-career Core Hydration Classic all-around title Saturday night at the XL Center.

Biles scored a dominant 59.500 in all-around competition on Saturday to claim the all-around crown in a field of 49 senior gymnasts in Hartford. Her gold medal-performance on floor exercise (14.800), and silver medal-winning uneven bars (14.550) and balance beam (14.550) routines helped solidify her all-around title. She also posted the highest score of the night on vault (15.600).

Shilese Jones (Auburn, Wash./Ascend Gymnastics Center) took the second-place podium spot with a 57.650 and also collected bars gold with an impressive 15.250 on the apparatus and tied with Kaliya Lincoln (Frisco, Texas/WOGA Gymnastics) on floor for silver with a 14.000. Jordan Chiles (Vancouver, Wash./World Champions Centre) won all-around bronze with a 55.450 and tied with Trinity Thomas (York, Pa./University of Florida) for bronze on bars with a 14.300. Jade Carey (Phoenix, Ariz./Oregon State University) claimed vault gold after a two-vault average of 14.225 (14.300, 14.150), making it her fourth win on the event at Classic. Suni Lee (St. Paul, Minn./Midwest Gymnastics Center) secured the beam title with a 14.600.

A complete list of qualifiers to the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships May 30-June 2 in Fort Worth, Texas will be announced on Monday, May 20.
