If you thought this Street Fighter 6 Rashid play was an input error and not a galaxy brain set up, you thought wrong...

Rashid's level 2 super in Street Fighter 6 is good. Really good. The massive tornado he throws out when activating this super moves slowly, lingers on screen for a long time, deals multiple hits, and buffs several of Rashid's moves and movement options.

It can and is frequently used for all kinds of tricky set ups, but hey, sometimes Rashid players mess up too and drop their mix up... Well, that's what this wild Street Fighter 6 clip looks like it's portraying at first, but in reality, what we have is an absolute galaxy brain set up that may or may not have been intended.

This clip comes from FGC_Elodad on Twitter and sees their Rashid as the mixer upper. In an online match, we see the Rashid taking on a JP player, and the footage begins with both players having very low health in the second round.

From almost full screen away, Rashid tosses out his big level 2 super forcing JP to chuck his own projectiles at it and simply back away. Once the JP is cornered, FGC_Elodad goes in for what you'd think is the kill, but uh... instead they fire off what looks like a random OD Spinning Mixer and go flying up above JP's head.

Unfortunately for the JP here, the tornado is still in play and closing in, and what we end up with is what looks like a crazy Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 incoming mix up where the assist comes in from the front and the point character jumps up above the opponent making for a very tricky left or right mix up.

In this scenario, though, the JP doesn't really get hit with a left or right mix up, but instead has to figure out how to hit Rashid without getting hit by the tornado. With what looks like a panic maneuver, the JP hits standing heavy punch and sees his cane hand get clipped by the tornado.

This sends JP flying high up into the air for a juggle, and it's here that Rashid is still able to land and fire off another OD Spinning Mixer. This second OD Mixer hits JP as he's coming back down and Rashid is able to close out the round with the follow up.

Unfortunately for this jp i am incredibly intelligent. pic.twitter.com/UKg4tJ83ai

I have played and watched A LOT of Street Fighter matches over the years, and if I had to guess, I'd say this set up wasn't intentional, but the Rashid player reacted and capitalized properly to get the win. But if this was all orchestrated from the beginning, then this is truly a galaxy brain mix up that deserves its praise.
