'SNL' Pays Tribute To Dabney Coleman

Dabney Coleman was remembered on Saturday Night Live.

The NBC late-night comedy show paid tribute to the late actor with a title card at the end of the live Season 49 finale.

Coleman died on May 16 in his home in Santa Monica, California.

"My father crafted his time here on earth with a curious mind, a generous heart, and a soul on fire with passion, desire and humor that tickled the funny bone of humanity," Coleman's daughter Quincy Coleman wrote in a statement on behalf of the family. "As he lived, he moved through this final act of his life with elegance, excellence and mastery. A teacher, a hero, and a king, Dabney Coleman is a gift and blessing in life and in death as his spirit will shine through his work, his loved ones and his legacy…eternally."

Coleman made an appearance on SNL back in 1987. His monologue on YouTube resurfaced amid news of his death. Remember Coleman's SNL monologue in the video below.
